Lymington is a charming Georgian market town with a number of interesting independent shops and designer boutiques;

The surrounding area provides an abundance of things to do - It's a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors with a range of activities on offer including: cycling, horse-riding, fishing, bird-watching and enjoying the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the New Forest and the miles of beaches that run westwards from Milford-on-Sea to Sandbanks in Poole.

Lymington hosts a lively street market every Saturday in the main High Street with a number of stalls catering for all tastes. In addition there's a wide variety of shops, galleries, boutiques and a Waitrose, Tesco and M&S Food. The town centre is approx 15 minutes walk from the marina.

  • Coastal Walks

    There is direct access to the coastal footpath offering superb walks along the foreshore to Keyhaven (approx an hour and a half walk) and Hurst Point.

Visit the Isle of Wight

Regular ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth run from the WightLink terminal. 

Puffin Cruises take you to Yarmouth from the Lymington Town Quay.

Yarmouth has plenty of shops and restaurants/pubs. From here, you can set out to explore the rest of the Island including Osborne House, Alum Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, museums, wildlife centres and much more.
